Jardim Botânico do Rio is the oldest botanical garden in Brazil, with more than 200 years of history. Occupying an area of 540,000 square meters, the garden is home to more than 3,400 plant species from different regions of the world, making it a true paradise for birds, which use the arboretum for feeding, breeding, and nesting. It is important to note that the Botanical Garden is a very quiet, safe, and well-monitored place, where birdwatchers and bird photographers can walk without worrying about their equipment.
